Terms & Conditions for FiberWeek 2027 Registration (Uvjeti registracije za FiberWeek 2027)

1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the FiberWeek 2027 conference, organized by STE d.o.o. By submitting a registration, the applicant confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
2. Organizer and Payment Details

Participation fee per attendee:
- Official / host hotel: Early Bird - EUR 400 + VAT (25%) for registrations submitted by 31 December 2026; Standard Rate - EUR 450 + VAT (25%) for registrations submitted from 1 January through 31 March 2027; Late Registration - EUR 550 + VAT (25%) for registrations submitted from 1 April through 30 April 2027.
- Accommodation outside the official / host hotel: Early Bird - EUR 600 + VAT (25%); Standard Rate - EUR 675 + VAT (25%); Late Registration - EUR 800 + VAT (25%), according to the same registration periods above.
- Companion fee: EUR 50 + VAT (25%) per registered companion.
The applicable rate is determined and locked according to the date on which the registration is submitted. The payer bears all bank charges and must select OUR when making a bank transfer. The registration fee does not include accommodation costs.
A digitally generated payment/proforma document and, after payment is recorded, the applicable payment confirmation or invoice documentation will be sent electronically to the provided e-mail address.
3. Confirmation of Participation
To confirm participation in FiberWeek 2027, the registration fee must be paid within four (4) days from the date of the proforma. A registration is considered complete once the full amount is recorded on the organizer's account, after which confirmation will be sent by e-mail.
The participation fee includes:
- Access to all conference sessions;
- Access to the Exhibitor's Hall and FiberWeek exhibition areas;
- Conference materials made available by the organizer;
- Online access to presentations made available after the conference, subject to speaker/rights-holder permissions.
4. Payment Reminder
a. If payment is not recorded within four (4) days, the registration system will automatically send a payment reminder to the proforma e-mail address and the registered attendees' e-mail addresses.
b. If payment has not been confirmed by 23:59 on the fifth (5th) day following issuance of the proforma, the registration will be automatically cancelled on the sixth (6th) day at 00:00, and a cancellation notice will be sent automatically to the same e-mail addresses.
5. Accommodation Bookings
FiberWeek intends to secure special accommodation conditions for attendees at the official / host hotel. Booking instructions, availability, the applicable promotional code (if any), and hotel contact details will be published or communicated separately by the organizer. Attendees are responsible for booking and paying for their own accommodation directly with the hotel unless expressly stated otherwise.
Lunch and organized social/entertainment activities during the conference may be provided according to the final FiberWeek 2027 program. The registration fee does not cover accommodation costs.
6. Cancellation and Replacement
Cancellation of a confirmed registration is not permitted. However, a registered attendee may be replaced by another person from the same company or institution, provided that the organizer is notified in writing in sufficient time to update registration records and accreditation details.
7. Liability
FiberWeek and STE d.o.o. shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from participation in the conference, including loss of data, delays, program changes or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond the organizer's reasonable control. The organizer is not responsible for damage, loss or personal injury caused by attendees, accompanying persons, hotel operators, hotel staff or third parties during travel, accommodation or activities outside the organizer's direct control.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the competent courts in Split, Croatia.
9. Modifications
FiberWeek reserves the right to modify the conference program, schedule, format, speakers, content, venue arrangements or other elements of the event where reasonably necessary. Participants will be informed of material changes where appropriate.
10. Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward other participants, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, staff and venue personnel. FiberWeek reserves the right to refuse or withdraw access from any person whose conduct materially breaches these standards or disrupts the event.
11. Privacy Policy
Personal data submitted through the registration system will be processed for the purposes of registration administration, payment and invoicing, participant communication, event organization, accreditation/badge production and related operational requirements, in accordance with applicable data-protection law, including the GDPR. Data will be retained only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and applicable legal obligations. Further information is available in the FiberWeek Privacy Policy.
